Neil Lewis joined Magi in 2015. He spent his early career as a solicitor specialising in asset and project finance, and has over 25 years’ experience as both outside and in-house counsel representing financiers, lessors, investors and airlines.

Neil worked as a solicitor at Freshfields, as General manager and senior in-house legal counsel, Nomura Babcock & Brown, Tokyo and General Counsel (EMEA), at Babcock & Brown, London.

Over a period of ten years, Neil assisted Nomura Babcock & Brown (NBB), the largest arranger of aircraft finance in Japan, in closing over 70 aircraft leasing transactions valued at over $2.5 billion with airlines including British Airways, Iberia, KLM, easyJet, TUI, THY Turkish Airlines and Aer Lingus.

He is qualified as a solicitor in both England & Wales and Scotland and has an LL.B and Dip.L.P from the University of Glasgow and is a member of ISTAT.
